A native of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, USA -- Pastor James Alfred Bradfords' early training in music was with Smokey Robinson, writing and performing in Los Angeles for six (6) years. During this time James contributed hit songs to four separate Smokey Robinson albums.

Saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit at the age of 28, James Bradford began a new phase of growth in the Lord. He served as Praise and Worship Leader for six (6) years, until he was called to the Ministry and licensed as an Ordained Minister in 1986.

Pastor James founded JAB Ministries - Word of Faith in response to the needs of hurting men and women, both within and outside of our churches, who are searching for answers to their everyday challenges.

Pastor James' writing credits include 19 inspirational books, with 15 currently published. Two of his most popular books are: “Sour Grapes” which talks about helping faultfinders, complainers, and those that have an excuse for their misfortunes. This book addresses people who want to succeed but choose not to put in the necessary effort. His recent release “What in Hell Do You Want?” is taken from the parable ‘The Richman and Lazarus’ with a surprising twist. Hell can be in your mind, your job, a living breathing part of you. Hell can be stopped! This book brings awareness of the decisions and choices a person makes and the impact on their life.

Inspired with vision for Kingdom ministry, Pastor James continues to avail himself to the move of God, speaking to churches, groups, ministries, and sharing vision and inspiration through his music, books and teachings.
